Math Characters SWF panel for Fireworks

Custom graphics solution for math Test Item Writers who needed to often insert math characters and symbols into graphics for K12 online testing. It is similar to the native "Special Characters" Panel that comes with the Fireworks, but contains unique symbols that can be inserted into existing text boxes, the ability to add subscript and superscript numbers and a series of floating symbols for over text areas.

"Math Characters" is a Panel extension for Fireworks. It consists of two files.
1) A Javascript file with the functions and variables needed to access the Fireworks DOM and insert the correct character.
2) A SWF file (compiled from Flash Actionscript) that is the visual interface and panel that is displayed in Fireworks.

The extension is prepacked as a Fireworks MXP file that can be installed with Extension Manager.

Notes for the Writers were included as a part of the panel due to limitations of what text properties could be accessed by the Fireworks DOM.
