A page from a promotional Tucson Pima Arts Council booklet. Featured in a photo is myself and children in front the "Paz Para El Mundo" mural. This mural was the culmination of a two month artists residency with TPAC's Rural Arts program for low income and outlying school districts.
The mural featured multicultural themes including Mexican mask making and Polish paper cut-outs.
Residencies in after-school programs and grants for public sculpture assure that rural Pima County residents have access to the arts.
