Victoria Greenlees About Me layout

Victoria Greenlees - Glasgow, Scotland

Background:
I am a full time lecturer in graphic design and new media at Cardonald College in Glasgow, which I love! I have worked there now for almost six years, but before I got into teaching I worked in industry for over ten years in various agencies and companies as a graphic designer.

Scrapping Style:
I like to scrap happy times, and things that make me smile! My style changes layout by layout, but I would say that I love to pay attention to detail, and mix and match papers and embellishments!

Brandy O'Neal

Brandy O'Neal - Ramstein Air Base, Germany

Background:
I have worked with computers all my life. I began computer graphics and web design in 1996. I was also in the Air Force for  7 years as a Computer Systems Administrator where I continued to work on web and graphics design.I was always into art and drawing, anything dealing with crafts. That eventually led to digital graphics design, building websites, and then to digital scrapbooking.

Scrapping Style and Subjects:
Digital Scrapbooking is now an obsession for me. Whether it’s a smile or a laugh from my daughter, a look from my husband, or a new quote online, I’m always thinking of new things to scrap. I like to be creative. Each ‘page’ is a blank canvas waiting for the paint.

I have a B.A. in Graphic Design from the University of South Carolina and an M.A. in visual arts from Goddard College. I am currently working on Ed.D. and am a full-time faculty member at the Art Institute of Charlotte in the Fashion Marketing and Management program.

Scrapping Style and Subjects:
At a very early age, I would sit down at the kitchen table with my dad and put together the family scrapbook. He and I would cut out words from magazines. We would would use decorative wall paper.I would consider myself a collage architect. I love the process of preserving special moments and my collage work displays this passion. I have always been wildly drawn to the process of creating beautiful things from found objects, and I see inspiration all around.

Cheryl Chan About Me

Cheryl Chan - Hong Kong, China

Background:
I live in Hong Kong until the end of October, when I will be moving back to Manila. I work full-time in hedgefunds in the finance industry.
I'm a Fil-Chi (Filipino-Chinese) weekend scrapper.

Scrapping Style and Subjects:
My favorite scrap subjects are my nephew and my friends. I've been traditional scrapping since 1999 but moved to digital around mid-2006.
My designs are normally the fully-embellished look but these days, I'm testing out the minimal look.  I photo manipulate at times and experiment on a few more features offered by Photoshop.
